What kind of restrictions can I set in the OnRes system?

This is how the restrictions window looks like in the OnRes system.

Setting restrictions in the OnRes system for stay

Min Night Stay: Set the minimum number of nights that the guest needs to stay for a reservation. You can set this number per weekday by clicking on the “Enable Weekday” checkbox, and enter the number of nights for each weekday.

Min Night Stay (Arrival): This restriction is applicable to reservations with Check-in date on the dates selected. For example, if you want to make sure all reservations starting on Saturday have a minimum 2 nights restriction, you can Enable Weekday checkbox for Min Night Stay. Enter 2 in the box for Saturday and keep the rest of the weekdays as 1.

Minimum Night Stay on Arrival Restrictions

Max Night Stay: Set the maximum number of nights that the guest can stay for a reservation. You can set this number per weekday by clicking on the “Enable Weekday” checkbox, and enter the number of nights for each weekday. (Note: Entering the field as 0 means no restrictions set.)

Max Night Stay (Arrival): This restriction is applicable to reservations with Check-in date on the dates selected. For example, if you want to make sure all reservations starting on Monday cannot stay for longer than 4 nights, you can Enable Weekday checkbox for Max Night Stay. Enter 2 in the box for Monday and keep the rest of the weekdays as 0.

Close on Arrival: Disallow reservations to check-in on the selected dates. You can set this restriction per weekday by clicking on the “Enable Weekday” checkbox and checkboxes on the specific weekday(s) that you want to close.

Close on Departure: Disallow reservations to check-out on the selected dates. You can set this restriction per weekday by clicking on the “Enable Weekday” checkbox and checkboxes on the specific weekday(s) that you want to close.

Gap Restrictions (B&B Mode accounts only): Limit the number of open nights (gap or no gap) between each reservation. (Refer question 3.4 for more details).
